Aloe Vera Information
The Aloe Vera plant is a green plant that has green succulent leaves. The pulp from the inside of these leaves is used for medicinal purposes. There are many varieties of this member of the Lily family which is cactus like in appearance. Aloe can be found in the deserts of Africa, the islands of Aruba and the Barbados. Aloe has been used since ancient times to treat for burns and wounds. Applying Aloe externally to the skin also helps with scrapes, sunburns and insect bites.
